An Honest Hoodia XR Review
If you are in the market for Hoodia, then Hoodia XR is a very popular choice. From our research we would not give it the highest rating for a few reasons, and we would recommend another brand.
Firstly it displays clearly on the website the "Alkemist Pharmaceutical" certification. Alkemist Pharmecuticals is a trusted company that tests whether what companies sell matches up with what they claim to sell on the label. These certificates demonstrate that Hoodia XR does do this, but it could go further. The brand we recommend also hire Alkemist Pharmaeuticals but with a twist. They hire them to conduct random anonymous trials. That means that the company will not know when their product is tested. This type of testing is much more convincing than the one shown by Hoodia XR on their website. After all any company that is having their product tested could theoretically make a special batch for testing and sell lower quality versions from the store. Please note, we are not saying Hoodia XR does this, we are just pointing out that this could be possible, so the random anonymous trial certificates have greater credibility.
The other thing about Hoodia XR is that although they have pure 100% Hoodia Gordonii on the label, they also have some other ingredients. This is not ideal, no matter how small these other ingredients are. Hoodia XR claim that these ingredients help to release the Hoodia P56 molecule slowly in your system so that the effect of the Hoodia lasts longer, but there is no proof of this. How can this really be tested compared to other brands?
We're not saying here that the people of Hoodia XR are lying or falsely advertising, we are saying that their claims are very hard to prove and so very hard to believe for the skeptical person (which we are). You can visit their website here to check it out for yourself. We believe in giving yourself the best chance of buying the most potent Hoodia, and so we felt we needed to make this point.
So how do you find the best, more potent Hoodia for weight loss?
Well, we set out a strict criteria before we checked out different companies. We found many companies that came close to meeting this criteria, but only one exceeded it (it also did other things we weren't even looking for). Here is a short list of what our recommended company provides:
- Its products have 100% Pure P57 Hoodia Gordonii from South Africa and nothing else on the ingredients label. There are no other ingredients, additives or fillers in the capsule, tablet, pill or in its liquid form - just look at the label. If they aren't showing you the label on the website, you may have to be a little suspicious. Again, don't fall for companies just selling 'Hoodia'. There are many versions of the Hoodia plant and you want only the South African Version with the active P57 molecule, or else it is no good for you;
- Their Hoodia is organically grown, and not a synthetic compound. Real hoodia Gordonii takes 4 years to mature and 6-7 years to be at its peak. As you know, it's not widely available.
- As mentioned above, they have certificates of authenticity from Alkemists Pharmaceuticals from random anonymous trials to ensure that what is claimed on the ingredients label is actually what is delivered. You can even look at the certificates and the number of random tests that have been done at their website. They are one of a handful of companies that are willing to put their product on the line for continued testing so you can continue to trust them.
- They have endorsements from respected independent third parties such as Doctors or investigative journalists (that are scathing about other Hoodia brands) and that put forward their name in their endorsement, about the actual product label. Their testominals also include many of their clients who are average normally people, like you, but you should be more skeptical of these (from any company). Its the expert testimonials you should look for, because these experts are putting their reputation on the line - they've actually got something to lose. You'll find that Hoodia XR don't really have these type of expert testimonials on their site. Please note that you should ignore all the BBC, CNN and Oprah quotes about Hoodia you find on every Hoodia website. If you read these quotes they are all talking about Hoodia in general, not the product label sold on the website. You want testimonials about the actual product label from noted experts.

- They've invested in farms in South Africa to ensure that will continue to have access to the highest quality form of Hoodia Gordonii in the long run. No other company we could find have made such an investment and is a sign of their commitment to delivering quality.
- They continue to provide royalties to the traditional Bushmen of South Africa who have used Hoodia for centuries. How many other companies would continue to make this payment to sell their hoodia?
- They are C.I.T.E.S certified, which means they have permission to export the Hoodia out of South Africa legally under international law. Many companies on the internet don't have this.
