- How much effort or intensity you put in

- Which exercise you choose
- Your current fitness level
- Other environmental factors such as the weather
So it's pretty hard being accurate about how many calories you burn. So don't really get too caught up by this. The fact is that it doesn't really matter. What matters is that you do the exercise. Consistency is what makes you lose fat, not having one huge workout. If you do work out consistently, you will lose weight, no questions about it.
